The BoxFit Project is a service which uses boxercise, a non contact form of boxing, as a tool to address social issues. The BoxFit project is a physical fitness session whereby issues such as sexual health, healthy living, teen pregnancy and exploring gender roles can all be incorporated. Service users will improve their physical fitness, knowledge, enhance skills, builds self esteem & confidence as well increase social networks.
The project is cross generational and beneficial for ages 11+. BoxFit also benefits both males and females. The flexibility of BoxFit means it can be inter-generational e.g. parent & child groups, single sex or unisex.
